Bridge and Asendia boost overseas US deliveries

International Bridge and Asendia USA have partnered to expand delivery capabilities across the United States, particularly in areas most carriers avoid or serve at high cost. The collaboration focuses on non-continental destinations like Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and U.S. military addresses, where shipping reliability and affordability have long been inconsistent.
Faster, cheaper deliveries to remote regions
The partnership merges International Bridge’s last-mile logistics technology with Asendia USA’s global network. Shipments to Hawaii now average 2.6 days, Alaska 3.3 days, and Puerto Rico 2.2 days. Nearly all metro deliveries arrive within four days, with transit times across major lanes typically ranging from two to five days.
Costs decrease by about 30% on qualifying non-continental shipments. The reduction stems from smarter carrier selection, volume discounts, fewer surcharges, and improved address validation to prevent failed deliveries. The system also provides real-time tracking and proactive exception management to address delays before they escalate.

A shared customer with three apparel brands reduced delivery times to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. possessions from about two weeks to three to six days. Faster delivery, competitive cost, and improved visibility enhanced customer experience and supported growth in these regions.
Seamless logistics, invisible to customers
International Bridge operates behind the scenes, fully integrated into Asendia USA’s infrastructure. Shoppers interact with a single system for tracking, labeling, and reporting, eliminating the need to manage multiple carriers. Onboarding is streamlined, and support includes live customer service Monday–Friday 24 hours and Saturday 9:30am–1:30pm MST, plus 24/7 tracking and self-service tools.
The partnership also serves U.S. military addresses—APO, FPO, and DPO—as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands. These locations have historically required expensive or inconsistent alternatives.
